Would You Know What to Do If Someone Collapsed?

In honor of February being American Heart Month, Paragon Orthopedic Center would like to remind you about the changes the American Heart Association, or AHA, made to CPR.  We have previously covered this information in a newsletter, but assuming most people have not been frequently using their CPR skills, a refresher seems timely.  For the general public, compression-only CPR is recommended.  Only healthcare professionals are to do the mouth-to-mouth breaths.  According to the AHA, 90% of the people who experience an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest die.  You could be the person to save someone if you know the simple technique of performing chest compressions.  Click here to view a short 1 minute video and learn how:
